What is the Up & Active Eat Well, Keep Well programme?
The programme is a blend of educational, physical and emotional support designed to help people who want to improve their relationship with food. The Up & Active team have partnered up with Lancashire County Council, Active Lancashire, Public Health England and East Lancashire CCG to offer this free programme to participants who meet the eligibility criteria. As one of the most trusted healthcare teams across East Lancashire, we are working to build a healthier Pendle, we recognise there’s an unmet need to support people build a positive association with food.
Due to the range of experts in the Up & Active team, this means we can offer you personalised advice to help you not just lose weight, but to help you meet likeminded people who will support you in your journey.
How does the programme work?
Is the programme for you?
This programme is suitable for anyone who wants to learn and understand about the food and how to develop a healthier relationship with it. As a commissioned programme there are some eligibility criteria to access this free programme. Please note that the Eat Well, Live Well is an educational programme and there is no physical activity involved in this programme.
How can you take part in the programme?
You can apply for the programme by completing the following application form. As this programme is delivered at your nearest Pendle Leisure Facility you will need to be able to travel.
